hello The "Service charge" = If you earn £11,000 or less - no charge. £15,000 - £180 p.a £20,000- £405p.a £30,000 -£855 p.a If you earn £30 - 50,000 tax @15% £50-90,000 tax@18% £90,000 + tax @ 20%. The biggest earners currently pay approx 3 x more than the lowest earners. The SWP of GB might like to see a federation but a small nationlike Scotland would stand a better chance first, baby steps if you like.
Cheers

I see Scotland being the achilies heal in Britain, just as Ireland was to the Empire back in '16. Once Scottish independence is gained, the Uk loses a lot of political influence and power, not to mention military might. Welsh independence seekers are given a boost and the loyalists are given a demoralising blow. I also could never see a Scottish Socialist republic having the chance of developing while tyranical powers still preside over the country. In my opinion independence is not just the key to Scottish freedom, but to freedom in Ireland & Wales to Palestine and Iraq.

it's unfortunate the scottish republican left loss all their seats. I wonder what this means though, if the SNP's victory will lead to any further change?

This is indeed bad luck. Sorry to hear this. I think the SSP should see this as an opportunity to re-organise and prepare for the future. Building a strong web presence is always a good starter. YouTube, Bebo, MySpace, you official web site, they are all good ways of gaining support both home and abroad. Sorry if I sound out of place here(?)

hello, Thank you. The Scottish Socialist Party, well, our MSPs donate half their wage (£53,000 p.a)to the party. So financially this is a blow but there are Socialists worldwide facing worse things than this.I also believe that we will stand a more fighting chance within an independent Scotland.
