They would be the closest organisation in terms of organizational structure and the belief in the working class to organize and create socialism without a vanguard, to my own position. Though they are 'Luxemburgist' - en.wikipedia.org/wiki/LuxemburgismAny event you go to theyr at it giving out there very eye catching and glossy 'Resistence' news sheet. How they fund it I dont know cause there aint many of them. But theyr good group and I would hope they grow to be an alternative to the ever dominant 'democratic centralism' of the SP, SWP, CPI, IRSP, WP (who they split from) etc. The SWP in particular has a very bad reputation with DC.

They are currently in the process of coming up with a position on the border issue. But most of them are ex-worker party members so my guess is they are. All socialists support a united Ireland, its a case of how to achieve it and confront it that we disagree on.

I notice the Mp3 is entitled 'WSM_what_sort_of_ireland_do_we_want'. Is this a branch or a part of the Workers Solidarity Movement?
There's is no point in a United Ireland unless it is an economy controlled by working people. Those who people and the media would see as 'Politicians' have to be taken out of their position of power and priviledge and should no longer be allowed to work for their selfish business interests at the expense of working people. The only republic is one fully controlled by the majority who live in it using their democratic vote to make local and national decisions - no 'leaders' and no 'borders'.
I recognise that this type of republic opens up a can of worms in the case of 'well what happens in this or that situation'. These are the questions that an organisation like ourselves should work to address so that working people (or those who visit the site) can begin to trust in the idea of workers' control via participatory democracy.

I wonder could we contact these people with a view to create a broad front with them? I am aware that there are differences between the groups but we are all socialist regardless...

No Pappa they are not aligned with the WSM,they just spoke at the bookfair i think it was. They are a split fromt he workers party as far as i know. The problem with looking for a broad front with them is that the SPi is only an online movement. They'd be asking where our members where. We could just infiltrate them.

I would agree and could probably only accept this type of free Ireland aswell, comrade i think we are communists, correct me if im wrong

The aim of any socialist or republican socialist organisation would (or should) ultimately be communism. Communism within Ireland is socialism as it only exists in one country but communism is socialism all over the world. No borders. Borders are put in place by capitalists to mark their territory and protect their investment.
