Whilst I stand in total solidarity with INNOCENT victims of the Irish conflict both north and south I cannot help but see the hypocrisy of those who stand with F.A.I.R. (Families acting for innocent relatives) and who's relatives or friends were anything but Innocent.
Obviously the Robert McConnell affair springs to mind, the man who is responsible for the scores of sectarian murders as well as playing his part in the Dublin and Monaghan bombings in which 33 people were killed. This man's photo was carried in previous FAIR marches, paraded as an 'innocent victim' also. How can FAIR be taken seriously if this is the case.
So many people (mainly through the media) have said that FAIR should be invited back to March through the streets of Dublin. Will they be carrying photos of mass murderers? If so should they be allowed to do so?

I think the worst thing is that if there is another march by FAIR and we want to make the hypocrisy element known by protesting, republicans won't get near the area they're going to march. The Gardaí will be beating us back with sticks, there will be many injuries received and the world and his dog will back the Gardaí 100% because of the riot. In a sense the riot has given the Gardaí a type of 'get out of jail free' card and we all know they'll use it.

Completely agree, the violence at the protest was a disaster for true republicans.Theres some evidence to suggest it was planned aswell,i dont know what to believe but if it was planned i personally dont want anything to do with RSF ever!An idiot could see how a violent riot would damage republicanism. They will be let march again because people are going to feel sorry for them because of the riot,if we had of used our brains we could of used the march to highlight the hypocracy of FAIR and its sectarian sidekick loveulster.
