It seems the NSA (US 'national security agency') are downloading the myspace databases onto their servers again. Why don't they call it the 'National tyranny agency'? It would be a lot more fitting.
It seems the first few times they did this (before NewsCorp took over and 'Tom' still own it) they actually wrote 'Myspace bulletins are down for NSA inspection'.
Maybe that's why Murdoch and his cronies took over... to silence Tom from letting out any leaks to the working people about the NSA. I'd say they made him an offer he couldn't refuse. One that was nothing to do with money. If you know what I mean.

How do you know this PC?
I think these networking sites are very dangerous. Imagine if all the third reich had to do to find all the communists was log onto bebo or myspace and see who's affiliated to what.
Im thinking like, anarchist or trot organisations presently (WSM,SWP,SP) who do not engage in any subversive activity at the present, but who, given the circumstances, like a revolution or uprising against government, would.
These people think theyr 'safe' putting up information given they are lawful, who knows what tomorrow might bring when they do partake in "illigal" activities - message forums too with a persons affiliations.
If the branch want to see who's in or with the CYM or WSM - just go to their bebo page sure ;D
We may aswell be carrying ID cards like the ones theyr trying to introduce in Britain.

Know what? The NSA is harvesting information on MySpace users? Apart from the screen shot images people have posted that noticed this first, there is also the article in New Scientist. This was all over the place for a while but it seems its long forgotten. www.newscientist.com/article/mg19025556.200?DCMP=NLC-nletter&nsref=mg19025556.200blogs.zdnet.com/ip-telephony/?p=1130There was a law put to congress which I think went through meaning that bloggers or those on the web who speak out against the US can be tagged as 'enemy combatant'. The day that law went through, 1000s of people changed their name to '[Name] enemy combatant' as if to say they were proud of it. I was very happy to see how this was met by the US public. If you're a member of MS, just search for enemy combatant. I tried it just there and the site seems to be fucking around a bit but most US 'friends' I have had it on their profile.

to be honest, this seems like the kind of fear and worry they want to instill...

to be honest, this seems like the kind of fear and worry they want to instill... They can only 'harvest' what you put online.
