Don't have a clue how I came across this page (you know how it goes when you're surfing and start to wonder). But there are some very interesting stories about British intelligence and their despicable activities here. The page touches on stories about Stakeknife but also has stories about the SAS carrying out 'staged terrorism' in Iraq, blaming these acts on Iraqi fighters and also Iran. Check out the very bottom story entitled 'Ulster on the Euphrates'. Very interesting. Kind of makes you think that it was the Intelligence and counter-intelligence which was key to numb the Provo campaign. www.brusselstribunal.org/BritishBombers.htm

good work, I'll definitely read that. this is important stuff to know. the world socialist website had a decent article about the same subject a while back, when that SAS unit were caught on active service, dressed as muslims and carrying bomb making equipment.

Yeah, I think that story is on there. It also has articles about the SAS (or SRR?) driving up to an Iraqi check point dressed in trad muslim dress and opening fire on Iraqi police. The car was booby trapped and it was filled with bomb making equipment.
You're right, it's very important to know this kind of stuff. The SAS are as active now as at the height of the war in Ireland and I bet they will continue into the future. Imperialism doesn't stop.
