Did anyone see it yet? Bloody briliant, especially the second episode. The storyline and acting is topnotch and really portrays what its like to be in the "lower stream"(as a geography teacher once said to me ) of socety. RTE should make more like this. It really is very realistic having experienced almost the exact sort of culture and mindset portrayed in the second episode from all characters. I really did connect with it. I almost shed a tear at the end aswell For anyone who hasnt seen it yet, you should. The next episode will be on Monday and is repeated on Saturday. The series has four parts and follows different characters, on the fringe of irish society, usually not seen or heard. Episodes ar nearly an hour long. You can watch them on the internet at the RTE website (though for some reason its more like a slide-show on my computer). I caught the end of it there on Saturday(?). The last 5 mins or so. Interesting but I'd like to see more. I heard it was very good alright. A few mates told me to watch it.

First I heard of it was on this board. Thought I would check it out and ended up watching the first 3 episodes in a row online. Will watch the last one tomorrow. This is the kind of programmes we need but I wouldn't hold my breath.

;D im glad you liked it. The fourth one was on tonight but I said ill watch it on Saturday instead when its repeated.
My only criticisms of it were that the first one is rather slow paced and abit dull, and the third (the unemployed chap), well his acting wasnt to my liking but others would disagree. The second one is the best IMO - so far.
