This thread is specifically for any information regarding the arrest of two comrades from the IRSP on trumped up charges by the free state. All info goes here, pickets and news etc...and comments are welcome also.

I heard they went to court last week and a protest outside the court was held. Does anyone know how it went?

There's a lot of efforts already underway to defend them, including a media campaign and pickets.

The protest was called off Dangeresque, guys are back in October as far as i know!

Writing to papers, getting coverage in the left / workers press (two articles have come out from international marxist groups the Free Peoples Movement and Socialist Appeal already). And of course the usual, spreading the word through personal websites like bebo, msypace, forums, email, etc which has also been very successful.  It would be great if we still had the large Irish-American network to expose this, the one the chuckies decomissioned. |
