I think that Barak Obama would make a very good president for the United States of America.
1.He proposes to withdraw all US armed forces by 2008. This in turn would make the world a safer place.
2. He will restore the damaged image of the US.
3. He would bring strong equality to the US if voted in as US President
4. He himself will be a popular president in the US and and the international community.
These are only my own views. What do you think?

I think the US is a hugely Imperialistic country/ economy and will always expand it's economic reach in order to weild power over others. Iraq is just the tip of the iceberg. The US spends more on military than Russia, China and Europe put together and has a presence in over 130 countries worldwide. You could put Ronald McDonald in the white house (they're not far off with Arnold Schwarzenegger) and he'd still be controlled by the same people as Bush. The only way of bringing equality and democracy to the US is by a people's revolution leading to working class control of the economy.

Very true. You can change the president but you cannot change the corrupt people and organisations within the country.
Hilary Clinton will propably win it because there seems to be more financial backing on her side. Its all about massive amounts of money in elections. A true disgrace when so many are living in poverty.

I agree with Caoimhain totally.
The "democratic" process is an illusion to give the impression that the people hold power - especially in the US more than any other.
IMO it wouldnt matter what person or party got elected.
I think its funny how for the first time in US history we are most probably going to see either a woman or a black president in power.
Im tellin ye lads - the revolution is just around the corner - they are using every las trick up their sleeve to bring legitimacy to their power and illusion to the people.
The novelty has to wear off sometime.
As for predictions.......I put my money on Mrs clinton to win.
