Do people think there is any appreciation amongst anti-gfa republicans for a uniting of ideas and the setting up of an anti-gfa pro-peace group? The idea of an organisation specifically set up to detail the flaws in the agreement and to put numbers behind it is great,The group could hold meetings, where debate on alternatives could be put forward. It would open up the anti-gfa feeling to the wider public.
I can think of many anti-gfa organisation which would take part, the various youth groups would be vital in shwing that our thinking isnt just the thinking of old angry IRA men. Also id say some anarchists would like to have a say,or maybe even parties who are currently pro-gfa would join in when they see the support and debate the idea is getting.
I posted this thread because i see alot of anti-gfa talk but nobody seems to want to do anything about it,why should we wait for the GFA to run its course,When it does the anti-gfa group could be ready and willing to step up to the plate and start the debate of an alternative.
That leaves us with the question, what is the alternative?I personally dont think the idea of going back to armed conflict an option,i would like the idea of an alternative that got th esupport of the people, not just republicans.
