Statement on the post 'TFM update'

I have decided to remove the post entitled 'Update on the Fenian movement'. I would agree with posters who stated that the thread had gotten 'out of control, sinister and dangerous'. I also think it had little or nothing to do with what we are trying to do on this forum.

None of the regular posters, moderators or administrators,including myself, have any support what-so-ever for this 'The Fenian Movement' group. It is obvious to me that no Irish Republican/socialist organisation would support such a group.

We are here to talk about Irish Republicanism, socialism, freedom, equality, democracy and economy. We are not here to talk about defending our name as I believe that how we present ourselves and interact with others should show others that we are respectable induviduals and that should be enough defense for any name.

I have also banned the poster Merciles (AKA UntilVictory32) for his attacks on some of our regular posters. I would not expect this kind of behaviour from a grown induvidual.

Any comments, questions, arguments are welcome.

It was getting a bit silly.

It was getting very silly but there seemed to be only one really silly person in the discussion. I gave him the benefit of the doubt at first because I didn't know who he was but he showed himself up for who he was in the end.

I'd rather if we could get back to discussions on uniting the people, how to create a socialist economy and how to get rid of the ruling fooling tyrants.
