"vote for our party for your voice in Government" - that's what they all say. That's what Gormley said and now look at him FFS. There can be no 'voice of the people' whilst Government continues to function because in the end it is the Government, the enemy of the people (in the Government's eyes) who have the final say. The Government will never allow the people to speak through them. If this were the case the Government would be useless in protecting the interests of the billionaires from regular working people.
The very basis of the party (working people controlling Government) is flawed. If working people were to effectively control the economy there would be no Government to stand in their way.

Anyone know whos behind it? Seems like oportunism to me. Click on the 'listening' section and it gives some profiles. Philip Andrews is party chairman Michael Hasset is general secretary. There's a "candidates for elections" section but it seems to be under construction. So it looks like they will be running in the elections. In many ways the website is quite amateurish, despite all the nice moving graphics. There's lots of spelling mistakes, out of focus images and it all seems very untidy. I suspect a spoof here. Look at "Philip Andrews image". He's on a bloody phone!. And the "Volunteer" image - a woman in Barbado's ;D I dont believe it, but I guess ill have to see.
