Bon Marleys lyrics are very radical. Just goes to show how little people actually listen to the meaning of songs. Bob is so popular, but his lyrics meanings are not

True. John Lennon I think is similar in that people dont get the 'radicalness' of songs like 'workingclass hero' and 'imagine'.

Some people think Imagine is about 'heaven'. Each to their own I suppose. Its like religion, people take what they want from it.

Some people think Imagine is about 'heaven'. It is! lol. Yeah, I know loads of people who loved the song but never knew what it meant. I had to work it out for myself after years of listening to it. I only copped it when I realised he was a leftie, then it clicked. I'm not mad on working class hero though, its a little too much like he's blaming the working class/ the other people (as opposed to the ruling class and capitalists) for socities problems. Imagine is a little more focused. It can't really be mistaken for anything else (bar heaven lol).
