Tell the media though, who seem to have a very 'eurocentric' view of the world, failing to relise that while women here in ireland not so long ago were all covered up and sitting at a different side of the church to men, Muslim 'belly dancers' have been dancing across the mid east for hundreds of years half naked.
They try and paint Muslims as backward extremists (successfully might i add) to suit their agenda to secure oil, particularly after 911. The colonialists did it with the southamericans and africans to justify their so-called social and cultural superiority by making them out to be backward barbarians.
The Muslim religion has nothing to do with the oppression of woman, FACT Mr. Murdoch.
