en.wikipedia.org/wiki/System_justificationThis seems to make a hell of alot of sense. 'But people are Greedy' 'But its human nature' 'But socialism has been tried and it failed' 'But its just utopian' 'But its just idealism' 'But the system does work' 'But' 'But' 'But' Sorry, what? your talking through your butt? This theory seems to explain so much in regards the way people think.

I think we could do well to create a publication of some sort which challenges and addresses the ignorant points made above. Maybe call it Socialism for the ignorant or something. I also have other publications (web or paper based) I would like to get out of the way but want everyone to be involved in it.

I think we could elaborate on this theory for some publications. Connolly wrote an interesting piece based on this theory, on how working people often shoot down socialism citing reasons such as 'nobody understands how it works, so it won't work'. Connolly argued that no one understands how the current system works either yet it is in motion (weather it works or not). Putting these types of points together could help us come up with something good. I think all of these publications should be put on the web and freely downloadable from our website.
