From 'Ireland'.
...................was going through the finances this morning , to see if we can continue to keep Mrs I in the style wha' she has become accustomed to (!) when one of the grandkids (bless him!) showed me a file which he had saved from a website he was browsing - by mistake , as it turned out : he had expected to be viewing a different site .
He told me he saved it in 'Favourires' 'cause "it had a load of those names wha' yer always givin' out 'bout , granda " ! So I clicked on it and it opened on the screen - and it made for interesting reading ! It was a list of all 166 members of Leinster House , showing their 'expenses' for 2005 . The info was only recently handed over under a 'Freedom Of Information' order to some fella who had demanded that info , fair play to him !
I took note of the 'expenses' pocketed last year by the FF , FG , Labour and PD Leinster House members for this area as I intend to write a letter to the editor of both local 'papers here about those political leeches . Plus , I wanna throw it in their faces when I see them on the street soon , looking for votes , as there's a State election coming up next June or July .
Anyways....
............................ I then turned me attention to the PSF members in Leinster House . Even more interesting ! As well as a salary of €2013 a week , Aengus O Snodaigh received €618 a week in 'expenses' . That's €2631 every week !
Jack Crowe put €576 'expenses' in his pocket each week , as well as his €2013 salary - €2589 a week .
Arthur Morgan got €1041 a week in 'expenses' , plus his salary of €2013 . That's €3054 every week .
Caoimhghin O Caolain put in for , and received , €1142 a week in expenses on top of his salary - €3155 a week !
Marty Ferris pocketed €1319 a week in 'expenses' , and shoved it in to his pocket on top of his salary - a total of €3332 every week .
I'd say those five lads have such a lavish lifestyle by now that they can't afford to start the revolution just yet : 'course neither can any of the other political leeches in that place , but the difference is that THEY did'nt state it as their intention to "shake the very foundations of the State" when they went into Leinster House . The Provies did .
Any foundations rattling out yer way , buddy .... ?
Slan Anois !
