This is quite dodgy. The Gardai are trying to force this guy into the Garda car for reasons unknown. But when he breaks free from them, they just let him go. The civilian doesn't run away either, he just walks away and so too do the Gardai. Odd? If he had committed a crime I'm sure they wouldn't let him just walk away would they? I'd say they were forcing him into the car just so they could give him a good beating and let him go. Feckin bullies! www.youtube.com/watch?v=rKlHKz2fq7c

Bullies is a bit of an understatment, i'd say this chap is lucky there was a few people around if there was no witnesses then he could have been bursted then done for assaulting one of them, he probably refused to give his name or something as simple as catching one of their bad eyes.
the new ombudsman has recieved 2.905 complaints into the guards, mainly from the Dublin Meath/Louth aswell as the Mayo area (due to the number of cases resulting from the policing of the shell pipeline, there has been between 101 and 125 complaints from this alone, in it's first year the commission has had 294 refferals from the garda commisioner at present 761 allegations of criminal conduct are being investigated the ombudsman has sent 9 files to the D.P.P, 5 have been decided not to proceed the other 4 still await decision, 17 of the 294 refferals were about the deaths of an individual, 11 in road traffic accidents and 6 during or after a period of garda custody these figures are the tip of the berg as many go not reported or have yet to be discovered.

Wait until tazers are standard issue. There wont be any more 'houdini' tricks to get away. The Gardai actually used one today on someone. Youd wonder what they did without them

can't see them all getting issued with them, they might just have one gaurd on duty with it, in each area, but i'd say they will make the pepper spray standard issue, safer than a knee in the chest when your arms are held behind your back

A simple search on Google will show you how many tazer deaths there have been. There's a video of an allegedly unwarranted tazer attack on ths page as well as a story on a tazer death - www.alternet.org/rights/44455/www.nowpublic.com/crime/vancouver-airport-taser-death-tape-releaseddigg.com/odd_stuff/Another_Tazer_Death_Today_Yes_I_said_ANOTHER_tazer_death_todayThere are questions that the parasites (Government) must also answer such as how many alcohol or drug related incidents would tazers be used in? This would obviously add to the danger of serious harm or death and, as well as that, how would the Gardai know if someone was suffering from illnesses that could also contribute to serious harm or death coming to the victims of these tazers. It's putting a dangerous weapon in the hands of those who are trained to use force against those who disobey the Governments laws. None of these laws are made by the people through democratic means. They are made by the Government and those who support capitalism. By the way Anti-capitalist thanks for those statistics on the complaints against An Garda Siochana. Perhaps they could be researched further and added to the Social statistical fact sheet?

Here's a video of 4 heroic Canadian police officers tazering, beating and killing an innocent man. The country is safe for another day. Notice the moment when the scumbags realise that he's dead. If this was a bunch of civilans on the street they'd all be thrown in the slammer for life and have the most appauling headline written about them - and rightly so. One of the officers is heard to say 'hit him again, hit him again' Sick. This incident alone should be reason enough for the Government to stop their plans. www.youtube.com/watch?v=6wYEBd-Mpus

There does not seem to be any proper fire control order in discharging these tazers and there is no doubt these weapons are similar to firing a live round in certain circumstances, like you said if a person has a disorder or something, then tazers are just as lethal,
it's annoying watching those racist Canadian bastards killing that Polish chap, he was aggitated to the hilt and an interpretar would have helped solve the situation into a better outcome.
I really cannot see the A.G.S.I, letting all the uniforms carry these, either, this is not to stop them from using them in wrong situation, but i would say it is because they fear that they would be taken from them, by the people
