De Rossa has been filmed assaulting a camera man outside liberty hall after a Lisburn Treaty meeting.
He and the media then tried to spin the story by saying De Rossa was attacked, when infact, De Rossa initiated the violence as can be seen from the footage.
It is alleged that he was 'sat on' while on the ground after tripping.
