Pól Mac Adaim sings the Internationale in Irish and English, following an introduction by Kevin Doherty who reads from Michael O'Riordan's book "Connolly Column".
This took place as part of an event in Belfast to remember the role of the International Brigades in defending the Spanish Republic from fascism, 1936-39. A memorial was unveiled in Writer's Square in Belfast by the International Brigade Commemoration Committee and International Brigade veterans Bob Doyle, Jack Edwards and Jack Jones were present for the occasion.
