The Scottish Socialist Freedom Movement issue the following statement:

We are about to release in public a manifesto or programme or "What We Stand For" as points of principle.

We will wait for the final results of the Scottish elections before realising our statement.

We urge comrades to vote for a pro-independence party in Scotland in your area where the candidate can win!

Pro-independence parties

Scottish Socialist Party (SSP)
Scottish National Party (SNP)
Solidarity
Scottish Greens

All these parties support independence or support a referendum on Scottish independence where the Scottish people can decide in the first term of a Scottish Parliament.

What were the results of this occurence. I haven't been able to see anything more about the independence issue.

The SSP lost a lot of seats as far as I can remember.
