Youth council seeks more alcohol controls Saturday, 24 November 2007 20:48 A National Youth Council conference has heard that education alone will not solve the growing problem of alcohol related harm among young people. The NYCI says that legislation is needed to replace the existing voluntary code on alcohol advertising to control the exposure of children to alcohol marketing. The council also wants the Government to introduce greater controls on the number of outlets selling alcohol.
